Just like swim drills help you to improve your swimming, cycling drills help you to become a better cyclist. And, one of the best places to practice technique and cycling drills is by doing indoor training. The controlled environment of a trainer allows you to isolate and concentrate on specific areas of cycling fitness and technique. This can lead to rapid improvements in riding technique as the isolated environment allows you to concentrate on specific skills without distraction. Indoor cycling is done on your own bike. There is no maximum number of participants for cycling, however, we can only offer a limited number of "Parking Spots". A "Parking Spot" means there will be a spot available to you to store your bike at our facility. All other participants must bring their bikes to and from Maramarc for training.

STRENGTH TRAINING:
Now is the ideal time to start your triathlon specific strength training program so that you can reap the benefits in the 2010 season! The goal is to get stronger while your swim/bike/run training schedule is relatively light and you can afford to hit the weights hard a couple times each week. During the racing season, our focus will be on maintaining the strength you developed during these Winter months.

RUNNING:
Running technique and drills are addressed at our Thursday morning workouts. We also have a Saturday group run every week where you can incorporate the techniques you have learned and join others to train for various running races during the Winter months.
SWIMMING:
Our swim program is designed to introduce you to proper swim techniques and establish a base that will carry over to our regular season training. Swimming portion of training will only be held if we have a commitment of 10 participants.
